Blythe
Blythe has had bulb planting courtesy of our landscape contractors, idverde – including wood anemone and bluebells as well as crocuses, daffodils and snowdrops. There has also been some wildflower turf.
In autumn 2020 we laid out wildflower turf and seed areas, planted bulbs, and added some trees on Stratford Road and in Hillfield Park.
These works form part of a borough-wide project which is designed to make Solihull greener. Part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund, the project will open up and improve existing routes, allowing wildlife to flourish and helping people to walk and cycle across the borough.
