Knowle
The Wildlife Ways project saw 1,600 square metres of wildflowers set out in the Knowle area in autumn 2019, between Brueton Park and the M42.
These works form part of a borough-wide project which is designed to make Solihull greener. Part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund, the project will open up and improve existing routes, allowing wildlife to flourish and helping people to walk and cycle across the borough.
Our contractors, Balfour Beatty, will be widening and connecting existing paths and cycle routes with green spaces whilst idverde will be planting 800 trees, 3.5 million bulbs, wildflower turf and grass seed.
