Lyndon
Work on the Wildlife Ways project in Lyndon (Route J) took place during autumn 2020 with the planting of trees and bulbs by our contractors idverde.
Works include planting trees on Wagon Lane and Hobs Moat Open Space, and sowing wildflower seed in Olton Jubilee Park. Our highways contractors, Balfour Beatty, will be adding cycle route markings to local roads.
These works form part of a borough-wide project which is designed to make Solihull greener. Part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund, the project will open up and improve existing routes, allowing wildlife to flourish and helping people to walk and cycle across the borough.
